Dr. Patrick Gatonga

Dr. Gatonga brings a wealth of experience across Africa and the Middle East, having held key roles in various sectors. He was a Commercial Executive at Old Mutual and a Senior Consultant at McKinsey & Company. Additionally, he specialized as an Eastern Africa Health Systems Specialist for the United Nations Children's Emergency Fund (UNICEF). He has held significant leadership positions in Kenya, including as Group CEO of ARR Insurance Holdings, where he focused on driving growth, transformation, innovation, and digitalization. He also led Jubilee Health Insurance as CEO and served on the Board of Directors for the insurance group's operations in Uganda and Tanzania. His academic credentials include a Bachelor of Science (First Class Honours), a Bachelor of Medicine and Bachelor of Surgery (MBChB), and a Master of Business Administration from the University of Nairobi in Kenya.

Christopher Khaemba

Mr. Khaemba is an acclaimed educationist with a distinguished career spanning over three decades in educational leadership and administration. His extensive experience in educational reform, policy development, and strategic planning has significantly improved educational standards in various institutions. He is the former headmaster of Alliance High School and founding Dean of the African Leadership Academy in South Africa. He is widely regarded as one of Africa’s leading educators. Khaemba has also served the Government as the executive for education, youth affairs, children, culture, and social services.

Mildred Obuya

Ms. Obuya is an expert in early childhood education and a consultant with over 20 years of experience in various teaching and programme advisory capacities. She has a deep passion for early childhood stimulation and has supported teachers and caregivers in engaging in best practices. She has supported ECD teams in content development, creating play materials, and training daycare managers on play materials use and development. She oversees the creative aspects of learning integration and developing processes for monitoring and evaluation. She is currently the Director of Partnerships and Collaborations at Matters Childhood Ltd.

Founder and CEO, Tendo Social Development Group

Sam Agutu

Mr. Agutu is is a seasoned corporate executive, finance professional, and social entrepreneur. He co-founded Chronic Drugs Medical Scheme (CDMS), enhancing healthcare access in underserved areas, and Tendo Social Development Group, which empowers women and youth in urban slums and rural areas through training in entrepreneurship and climate-smart agriculture. Sam previously co-founded Changamka Microhealth and Changamka Microinsurance, launching pioneering microinsurance solutions in Kenya. An Ashoka Fellow since 2012, Sam holds a B. Com from the University of Nairobi, an MBA from Jomo Kenyatta University, and is a CPA, Certified Secretary, and Chartered Arbitrator, a past Director of the Kenya Healthcare Federation and Chairman of the Medical Insurance Providers Association of Kenya (MIPAK
