MESSAGE FROM HEAD OF TRAINING
The Fellowship Program started in 2020 with the first ever cohort of 20 participants. We are confident that you will find our organization a dynamic and rewarding place in which to work, and we look forward to a productive and successful association. We consider you as the ‘brand” and valued contributor to the mission and vision of our organization.
To quote the late Nelson Mandela, “Education is the most powerful weapon that you can choose to change the world.” We are committed to serving this country through working closely with our government and its citizens. We have created a pipeline of 77 leadership fellows impacting the lives of close to 50,000 students attending Kenya’s most underprivileged schools. Through the provision of inspiring teacher leaders and the professional development of system teachers, we hope to steer these children onto dramatically improved life paths. In the next five years we hope to have increased this pipeline to include over 500 transformational young leaders having impacted the lives of over 250,000 Kenyan children.
The details within the handbook and associated policies or procedures may be modified from time to time. We will try to inform you of any changes as they occur. Key takeaway we need you to remember whilst working with us is borrowed from our core values i.e. Learner Centered; Diversity and Inclusion; Continuous Learning, Harambee, Integrity, Sense of Possibility, Result focused, Agile and Reliable is demonstrated across our workforce!
