Giving Hope to children affected by the floods!
In the last couple of weeks, Kenya has been facing a devastating flood crisis caused by relentless heavy rains.
Schools have lost major learning infrastructure such as desks, chairs, textbooks and computers that were washed away by the floods with others being converted to shelters for the displaced families.
As an organization that champions access to quality education, we urgently need to raise funds to stand in solidarity with the affected learners, our fellows and schools marooned by floods

Giving Hope to our children
As schools resumed last week for the 2nd term, the government confirmed that 2,000 schools across the country did not open as planned as they are either inaccessible due to flooding or infrastructure has been damaged by the recent heavy rains or are serving as shelters for displaced families.
We understand how this adversely affects education for the marginalized communities; widening the gap of access to education for them which reduces their chances of enjoying positive life outcomes. But we can bring Hope in our communities

At least 10 of our partner schools have lost major learning infrastructure such as desks, chairs, textbooks and computers that were washed away by the floods with others being converted to shelters for the displaced families. As schools resumed early this week, teachers and learners were seen trying to salvage the sodden books and drying them in the sun.
